- Continuous Quay jetty, located on the northern breakwater at a distance of 1.3 km from the shore
- Approach Trestle connecting the northern breakwater and the liquid jetty
- Jetty capable of handling petroleum, chemical, vegetable oil and LPG tankers
- Designed to berth tankers upto 150,000 DWT with provision to receive larger tankers in future
- Pipeline Trestle of 12 meters for carrying pipelines to the Storage Tankfarm
- Fire Protection System as per OISD 156 norms
In the first phase, there are four tank enclosures as per details below:
- Enclosure 1 - 59,000 KL
- Enclosure 2 - 23,000 KL
- Enclosure 3 - 28,000 KL
- Enclosure 4 - 15,000 KL
Total - 125,000 KL
There are 38 storage tanks of various sizes, ranging from 860 KL to 12,300 KL suitable for all kinds of liquid products.
The storage terminal is equipped for both import and export operations.
Land is available for constructing additional tanks with total capacity of over 100,000 – 150,000 KL in future.
Five pipelines for transfer of products between the vessels and shore tanks
- 2 No 24 inches dia Mild Steel pipeline
- 2 No.12 inches dia Mild Steel pipeline
- 1 No. 8 inches dia Stainless Steel (SS 316 L) pipeline
All pipelines are piggable. Scope for providing more pipelines based on user requirements.
