April 24, 2009 - First Aframax Tanker handled successfully
Pleased to inform that our Ennore Terminal accomplished another milestone when it berthed the first Aframax Vessel on April 24, 2009. The oil tanker New Activity with 105,432 DWT, LOA 228.6 metres, Beam 42 metres and Summer Draft of 14.5 metres, was efficiently berthed alongside and discharged CBFS into the shore tanks through the 24 inches dockline. The peak discharge rate was about 1900 MT per hour.
Yet again, ETTPL has proved its inherent capability to berth large tankers and unload the vessel at high rates, thereby providing economic value to customers handling liquid bulk through the MLT.
